This past weekend was great. Tiring, and to some, it probably would have been boring, but I had fun. I got to help my friend, Saskia Moes, set up her thesis exhibition. It was two days full of tying knots in mono filament, drilling holes in books, wrapping with binding wire, standing on ladders, and laughing a lot. Saskia's attention to detail completely amazes me, and I'm very excited to see her work in the clean, lit gallery.
I also managed to get in some yoga :)
The OCAC Thesis exhibition is open at Worksound/PDX from May 5 to May 27. It is located at 820 SE Alder (8th & Alder) in Portland, Oregon. If you get a chance, stop by! The reception is Friday, May 16 from 4 - 7 pm.
