It took me a little while to figure out that when you say 'sodder' you're talking about 'solder'! LOL We pronounce it 'solder' here in Australia :-)

Belinda, I went to school in Australia and it was *so* hard for me to get used to pronouncing it "sodder" when I got back to the states. It sounds so goofy! But if I say "solder" here, people look at me strange :)
