Process

I had a lot of fun working in the studio today. I worked on a handmade prong setting for a moonstone, which will be part of the next charm necklace I'm making, as well as the wire part of a brooch. It's from a book by Carles Codina, but more details on that later.

  2. Be sure to let me know when it comes out! I love his books he is so wonderful. I ACTUALLY learn things from him, not your typical "here make this ring book, now your a metal smith" book

  4. Thank you, Swati. I don't know why I never thought to bend the wire to make it easier to solder two prongs at once!

Tiffany, you can look up Carles Codina at Amazon.com or Powells.com and find a few books by him. I love them!
