I went into Twist today, to drop off an application and resume, and discovered a new favorite artist--Pat Flynn. The work is gorgeous, and the mark of a master metalsmith. Iron, accented with gold or diamonds, or both, as well as beautiful gold rings, accented with diamonds and small details, such as hearts, on the inside. His work has inspired me to explore--how I wish I could afford to work in gold and diamonds. I will have to explore in other areas first. I guess it could be called "working my way up the ladder". These are some of the favorite pieces, many of which I got to try on. Please visit his website for more details.
